72 Hour Emergency Kit This Kit is for a short term emergency requiring evacuation. Each member of the family should have these items packed in a bag ready to go. In order to avoid excessive duplication and added expenses this kit assumes that you have the Car Emergency Kit, Family Pack, Document Pack and Sentimental Items List packed and ready to go also. There is some duplication as a safety precaution in case family members get separated or bags are lost. All the eggs are not in one basket.
